Inland Rail – Industry Skills Study – Survey

Manager Communications and Cultural Services - Gunnedah Shire Council

Transport for NSW is investigating the impact and opportunities on jobs and skill requirements across the Local Government Areas in close proximity of  the Narrabri to NSW/QLD border stage of the Inland Rail project.

The Western Research Institute (WRI) has been engaged to complete a research project that seeks information across the following 5 council within the region.

The research will provide an assessment of the jobs impacts from the construction of the Narrabri to NSW/QLD border stage of the Inland Rail project. It will also seek comments on other major infrastructure and construction projects over the next 5 years and the challenges and benefits each region faces in making the most of the opportunities created from these projects. Additionally,  the research will identify potential new jobs and skills required in the 5 council areas that leverage the opportunities of the Inland Rail project and those opportunities arising from other major investments in the council areas.

The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete.  Please click here to access the survey or scan the QR code. The survey closes on 16 October.
