Provide responsible service of alcohol-SITHFAB002
In New South Wales, it’s a requirement of the NSW Liquor, Gaming and Racing – Justice (OLGR) that anyone working within a licensed alcohol-serving venue hold an OLGR approved RSA Competency Card. You will need your RSA if you are involved in the sale or service of alcohol in your employment or as a volunteer at a fundraising or community event.
This training meets the requirements of the national unit of competency SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol.
Minimum Age: Students can be aged 17 and undertake the course, but can not work until they have turned 18 years old.
Please bring current photo ID with you on the day.
Upon successful completion you will be issued with an interim certificate (valid for 90 days), which together with your identity documents will need to be presented to a Service NSW outlet such as the RMS to process your competency card.
Renewals – You can not sit this class if you have a current competency card. When it’s time to renew your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card, you’ll receive a reminder notice by email or SMS 90 days before your card is due to expire.
This training will be delivered and assessed by Coates Hospitality Services, trading as Australian Training & Consulting (ATAC) – RTO ID 90886. Statements of Attainment will be issued to students assessed as competent by ATAC.
